The creator of the OSEV is Jim McCoy, a professional educator and business consultant. Jim has lectured or taught at universities such as University of Nebraska, Baotou Teachers College, Northeastern University, University of Malta, and others as well as at international high schools. Over more than a decade, he has taught Political Science, Economics, History, Geography, ESL, AP Computer Science, and others. He was a Course Coordinator for the United States Pathway Program and oversaw American Studies, IT, and Engineering and Design. Today, he is CEO of Online School for Afghanistan Girls, Director of the Silk Road: Path to American Universities program, and member of the School Operations Team at Heckethorn Elementary School.
