The only “instructor” at OpenSource EduVersity is Jim McCoy. Jim spent a decade as a college and international high school teacher. He has a diversified education in Business, Technology, and International Relations. Courses that he taught include: Globalization, Political Science, History, Geography, Mass Media, AP Computer Science, Composition, ESL, Intercultural Communication, Interpersonal Communication, Marketing, Public Speaking.
Jim was a Course Coordinator for the prestigious United States Pathway Program administered by Northeastern University. He created the curriculum and supervised these courses: American Studies, Information Technology, Engineering and Design.
As a life-long learner, Jim has taken some sort of Certificate course every year for decades. He holds a BA in International Business with a Certificate in Sustainable Management. With an MA in International Relations and PhD in Homeland Security, he holds a Certificate in Diplomacy. He holds Certificates in Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence for Managers, and Digital Marketing. He is a Certified Online Course Developer.
Jim is a master Course Developer skilled in AI and the use of tools such as ChatGPT. He has created over 100 courses for colleges, international high schools, language training centers, the OpenSource EduVersity, and clients. He even teaches a course on how to use ChatGPT to create courses.
